Students from Around Rhode Island Protest at the State House

With the 2018 session winding down and no action on The Safe Schools Act, students demonstrated in the House Gallery at the beginning of the session on Wednesday, June 13th.

This bill has been held for further study for 4 years in a row, despite overwhelming support from voters, health and medical professionals, teachers and school administrators, as well as law enforcement in Rhode Island.  Please call Speaker Mattiello and Senate President Ruggerio to demand a vote on this sensible measure.
