Rhode Island Coalition Against Gun Violence Welcomes Two New Board Members

The Rhode Island Coalition Against Gun Violence is proud to announce that it has added two new members to its board of directors, Jessica Null, as Treasurer, and Kristina Contreras Fox.

Jessica Null is the Development Manager at Thundermist Health Center. After graduating from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY, she moved to Rhode Island and received her Masters of Education at Rhode Island College, focusing on students with significant disabilities. After leaving the classroom she returned to work in the nonprofit sector. She has been working as a development professional in the equity and social justice sectors for nearly a decade. Jess is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals – Rhode Island chapter, serving on the Professional Development Committee and as the co-chair of the Membership Committee. When Jess is not working or volunteering, you can find her at RI Hot Yoga, at the beach, hiking, skiing, or away in the White Mountains.

Kristina Contreras Fox (she/they/ella) works as the Senior Policy Analyst and lobbyist for the Rhode Island Coalition to End Homelessness. A graduate of Assumption University, she’s spent over a decade in elections, policy, and legislative advocacy, including serving as Director of Organizing for Ocean State Action, Field Director for Providence Mayor Jorge Elorza, President of the Young Democrats of Rhode Island, and two terms as 1st Vice President of the Young Democrats of America. Kristina is an alumna of AmeriCorps, Leadership for a Future, and New Leaders Council RI. She serves on the Board of Directors for Thundermist Health Center, the Smithfield Democratic Town Committee (elected November 2020), and the steering committee for HomesRI, a statewide housing coalition.
